 Case Intro

A few initial insights I'd gathered from the original presentation:

#1. Lacking personality: Intro slides were generic and failed to communicate what sets Dyce apart and the use of stock/static imagery felt impersonal and disconnected from the brand.

#2. Copy-heavy layout: Product slides were crammed with text but still missed key components, features, and selling points. The result was overwhelming and hard to digest.

#3. Disjointed Flow: The presentation lacked a clear narrative, making it difficult to use as a compelling tool in prospect meetings.

The Approach

When I first joined Dyce, I was presented with a number of company decks. I wondered why a party game company wasn't presenting itself in a more fun way, so I challenged myself to overhaul the product presentation as that's what's shared most frequently. I approached the redesign with one main objective: make our presentation as fun, polished, and magnetic as our games.

Brand Identity & Voice

I rooted the new presentation in Dyce’s bold and playful personality. Instead of sterile copy, I used language that reflects the founder’s passion for games and our brand’s sense of humor and energy. This helped turn the opening slides into a warm invitation into the Dyce world — a first impression that feels professional yet approachable.

 Key Takeaway

The redesigned deck now works as both a sales conversation and a brand ambassador.

#1. Stronger Brand Perception & Credibility Boost:

The combination of proof points, professional photography, and storytelling positions Dyce as a top-tier partner and innovative player in the category.

As a Designer with an extensive Marketing background, this project was about more than “making a prettier deck.” It was about giving Dyce a presentation that mirrors the creativity, quality, and passion that define their products. The new portfolio turns meetings into conversations, products into stories, and buyers into believers.

But wait, there's more! I wanted to update the company business card while I was at it – taking it from a standard print on white cardstock and transforming it into a sleek, dimensional conversation starter. The new card features a glossy, raised Spot UV logo atop a black satin finish card with a subtle game assortment image background to tie it back to the updated deck. The gloss and satin pairing is not only unique, but offers an extremely satisfying tactile experience!
